Can you attract whatever you want in your life simply by thinking (very hard) about it?
That’s the idea behing Bob Proctor’s The Secret and the Law of Attraction.
Now I am a big believer in all this crazy stuff. Of course there are limits to it but yes I do believe you attract whatever you wish for.
So it’s no surprise that when I heard good old Bob Proctor was in town I decided to pay him a visit and attend his $200 a seat conference (thanks to Groupon I got in at half price).
It took place last Sunday, between 9Am to 5PM (long day).
From left to right: Chiara (a good friend of mine), Bob Proctor and me.
I took loads of notes during the conference and I thought Id share them with you here, you might find some of this stuff helpful.
Bob Proctor is literally the ultimate punch-line and quotes machine, here are some of his best bits for that day:
“What do you really want out of your life?”
“This stuff can’t talk but God it can HEAR you when you call… HELLO!” (talking about and waving some money)
What he meant was that if you consciously call for wealth it will manifest itself in your life.
“Amateurs compete with people, pros compete with themselves”
Very good point… What would we become if we tried to outdo ourselves every single day?
“U got to strecht yourself and get outside your comfort zone.”
“Take the first step don’t worry about the height of the stair case.”
“The subconscious cannot tell the difference between what you imagine and what is real.”
“Use your imagination, picture the life you want, WRITE IT DOWN, think of a plan to get there then execute your plan, be relentless until you reach your destination”
“Many people believe success is being in the right place at the right time. It has nothing to do with luck, it’s all about commitment and perseverance”
“Can you turn your annual income into your monthly income? Of course anybody can do that! I did it within one year!”
“You must learn how to plant your dream in your subcouscious mind then get help. With the
right help the dream grows and the paradigm shrinks”
Great tip. Bob insisted a lot on this ‘getting help’ bit. That means that you should find mentors and partners to get you where you want to be. Don’t try to do everything on your own.
“We own nothing, we are merely custodians. Once you changed your thinking (-that money/success is hard to get) change will happen at a very fast pace.”
“Goals are not to get, goals are to grow.”
“Don’t settle for goals you know or think you can do. Instead stretch yourself and aim for goals beyond your limits.”
Very wise 🙂 Donald Trump argues the same in his “Think Big and Kick Ass While Doing It” audio book (recommended!)
“Forget rational plans, take the next step and adapt to the change.”
“If I want to be free, I got to be me.”
“When Kennedy asked his top Nasa advisor ‘What will it take to go to the moon?’, his answer was ‘The will to do it’. You can do anything you put your mind to”.
“Trading time for money is a dumb idea.”
“Don’t go for the little change, go for the big change. Use your mastermind group and get external help when stuck”.
“Earn across multiple streams of income.”
“Invest money to make money.”
“Most people are extras in their own movies.”
“Our world is changing.”
“Ask no one for permission to grow. You got make your own decision and never look back on it.. Make your destiny, have an extraordinary mind.”
So as you have seen there was a lot of wisdom to gather from this guy. I hope some of these notes will inspire you and help you get closer to your goals and ultimately your destiny.
Have an excellent week,
P.S. Feel free to let me know in the comments which one of the above is your favorite quote!
